We are honored to have Luana Dias David as the Founder and Director of our organization. A native of São Paulo, Brazil, Luana is a multidisciplinary artist and choreographer with over two decades of global performance experience. Her dynamic work seamlessly blends dance, cultural tradition, and storytelling, bringing the vibrant spirit of Brazilian culture to every stage. Luana’s exceptional talent has been showcased on national television platforms such as Italy’s RAI Uno and Russia’s Rossiya 1, and she has had the distinguished opportunity to perform for Italian President Silvio Berlusconi at Rome’s Piazza Navona.

Luana is the visionary behind the Quilombo Experience, a project that celebrates the power of multicultural connections throughout Brazilian history. Her expertise in dance and costume production, coupled with her dedication to fostering community through art, drives our mission to expand the cultural industry in the Berkshires. Luana collaborates with renowned institutions like Jacob’s Pillow, Berkshire Pulse, and the Mill Town Foundation, and serves as the Board Director of G.R.E.S. Tigre Dourado, a prominent samba school in Brazil. Her unwavering commitment to celebrating diversity and belonging inspires our team to create unforgettable cultural experiences that resonate with audiences across borders.
